Country-style living is the essence of this Memory Care ranch home with 4 semi-private bedrooms, 2 private bedrooms, 4.5 baths (1 ADA compliant) and 24/7 care with a 1-to-5 caregiver-to-resident ratio. A ratio, such as that, is unprecedented in Midwest senior homes and ensures a level of care and attention that dramatically improves the quality of life for residents. Residents are safe, comfortable and relaxed.
Care includes healthy, homestyle meals, medication management, laundry and housekeeping and assistance with ADLs. Sprinklers were installed throughout the house, along with a state-of-the-art keypad door locks for entry and departure and HD video monitoring of commons areas and outdoors.
Appropriate activity is essential for someone dealing with memory loss, as well as for seniors in assisted living. At Shepherd Premier Senior Living, our qualified and trained caregivers create and implement a planned monthly activity calendar. Caregivers also coordinate group outings, outings in a locality that is rich in opportunity, starting with the nature preserve nearby.
