Shepherd properties are like no other Assisted Living, we are boutique living that caters to your
loved one’s needs. If you answer yes to any of the following questions a Shepherd Property
might be right for you.

Would your loved one benefit from more personal care?

Does your loved one enjoy eating meals in a family style atmosphere with those he/she lives
with?
Would your loved one benefit from daily light exerscize?
Would you or your parent enjoy participating in outings, crafts, cards, or a specialty club like
Book Club, Veteran’s Club, or Red Hats Club?
Would you or your parent benefit from the convenience of having all the details of everyday life-
housekeeping, home maintenance and more-taken care of?

Our dedicated care team includes CNA (Certified Nursing Assistants), Caregivers and Nurses. The above combination provides an excellent caregiver to resident ratio of 1:5. The nurse oversee’s the plan of care implemented on daily basis by the CNA & Caregivers. 

Our activity program is tailored to daily exercises, socialization, cognitive stimulation, and create a family environment just like home.  

Yes, we have two buses that are available for transportation needs. There’s a $30 per hour fee to cover the driver & attending care staff and $1 per mile driven

Our idea at Shepherd Premier is that a Shepherd home is your final home. We allow for our
residents to age in place with comfort measures always a priority.

Yes, Illinois Code 295 requires we background check all our CNA, Caregivers, Nurses and Handyman. 

No, we are 100% private pay
