Salary Range: $45,000 – $55,000/year + Bonuses

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Resident Director to lead and oversee operations at our small home-like Assisted Living. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of care for our residents, managing daily operations, and providing leadership to staff. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and organized professional with experience in senior care and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations, ensuring compliance with Illinois state regulations.
  • Supervise, train, and support staff to maintain a high standard of care and service.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance resident care and safety.
  • Foster a positive and engaging environment for both residents and staff.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals (RN) to coordinate care plans for residents.
  • Manage resident admissions, assessments, and care plans in accordance with state requirements.
  • Handle budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation for the facility.
  • Ensure all documentation and reporting are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for families, addressing concerns and providing updates on resident well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in senior living, healthcare, or assisted living management (2+ years preferred)
  • Previous experience in senior living, assisted living, or a CBRF setting.
  • Knowledge of Illinois IDPH regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Passion for serving seniors in a home-like environment
  • CNA, LPN, or related healthcare certification (preferred but not required)
