Daily Life at Shepherd Premier Boutique Senior Living
Our activity program is designed to engage our residents in meaningful activities that promote cognitive, sensory and physical stimulation. Through a thoughtful combination of music therapy, arts and crafts, pet therapy, fitness, games, reminiscing, sensory and touch therapies, outings and in-home performances residents have endless opportunities to enjoy life. What’s more, everything is tailored to the abilities and interests of the residents in our homes.
Morning
Wake up in your private or semi-private room. Begin getting ready for the day either independently or with help from one of our caregivers. With our 1 to 5 caregiver to resident ratio, you always have personalized help when needed.
Head down the hall for a delicious, nutritious breakfast, then send out your weekly linens, towels, and clothing to be laundered. Before the daily devotional in the living room, plan the rest of your day. Will you join in morning exercise or join the walking club in the afternoon?
Afternoon
Join the other residents (only 10 to 16 max) for a family-style lunch on our signature, hand-made farm tables. Then get set for Shepherds Got Talent singing rehearsal and Fall Art Class. With over 4,000 square feet of living space, there’s plenty of room for different activities.
After, grab a book from the reading library and enjoy some relaxation on the wrap-around porch overlooking the large, beautifully landscaped yard. The rural neighborhood setting is so peaceful!
Evening
With the smell of homemade dinner preparations making you hungry, you grab a quick snack as you head to your room to select your favorites for Photo Album Show & Tell tomorrow. After dinner, everyone is gathering to watch the big game on the flat-screen TV.
Before heading to bed, don’t forget tomorrow is Touch Therapy Foot Massage with Essential Oils and you have scheduled transportation to your doctor’s appointment. Better get some sleep!
